Food is always fresh and good Spanish food, I go there at least once a week they have the best yuca with onions for only $1 yes $1 it's crazy meals are cheap and good portions. You can actually watch them serve your food as well.
First time trying this place, heard alot of good things about the food. Very homey feel inside. Clean. Attentive and nice workers. I got the chicken with Spanish rice and my boyfriend had the oxtails with Spanish rice. we shared a chicken empanada and also some sweet plantains. We also got a strawberry smoothie to drink and it was BOMB! Hands down the best Spanish rice, chicken empanada and strawberry smoothie ive ever tasted!!! Pricing was really good. We spent $26.00 total. I'll be visiting again and would recommend!!!
This was amazing. Five of us dined for $100, tip included. I had the red snapper with peppers and onion, yellow rice and beans, side salad, we also had 3 mofongos and pork with mushroom (must get!), chicken stew, black beans and rice (must get!), sweet plantains (must get!), yuca with onions (must get!), and flan and tres leches. (And an order to go!) "Best sweet plantains!" All delicious and great service. Huge portions. You can BYOB! Highly recommend. Mucho bueno.
I rarely give 5 stars on Yelp. Freddy's is some of the most delicious and affordable food that I have eaten..... and you'll see I have some pricey places I've been. The beef empanadas are my favorite ever. Beef stew is delicious.... oxtails and chicken, incredible. Definitely worth the drive into Camden.

I love that when you go to a Spanish restaurant its filed with culture, tradition, pride, and good food. Each restaurant has its own identify based on the type of cuisine they are severing. Freddy's is all of the above! Its like someones parents opened up a restaurant and cook everything themselves because they just LOVE to cook. I've had take out from here twice and both times I was left beyond happy. Yes, food makes me happy, good food makes me happy. We ordered from here from work and we knew we were in for treat when we read the menu. We ordered everything from tostonas to pepper steak and bistec empansado. Everything was seriously delicious!! Thank you, Freddy's! Thank you for reminding me of all the times I went to my friends house and their parents made me dinner. Thanks for reminding me of all the spanish spots in Jersey City that have dear places in my heart. A bit of a dramatic review but this place was that good!
